Recently, during the darkest season of the year, I was thinking about seeds. Some are as tiny as a grain of salt and yet, they contain life! And mixing with soil nutrients, water, and sunlight, they produce life – beautiful flowers, delicious fruit, shading trees, and more seeds for future generations. This all starts, miraculously, in the darkness, buried underground. Yes, I’m thinking – even in darkness, life is reaching for light. Growth is possible even when all seems very dark.
